I mean, you know.. cuz that would be like, the ONLY thing left we haven't contributed to."

For those of you guys renting your own place, living out of your own pockets and missing home? I ENVY YOU~

At least you've got someplace where you can still go back to being the child, ya know?

We should write a book:

"How to Survive Household Finance With 2K or Less!"

You know what I notice something, that you never perpetually live away from your family, while I never perpetually live together with my family.

Is this a case of one man's meat is another man's poison?

:)

In my family's case, sometimes living together feels more like 5 single adults living together sharing a house. What I'd give to have a generous (or a quarrel or two even) like you have.

You are lucky, Kak Sofie, lucky! (And I am too...:))

And if you could, you really should write that book!

Ati,

I've always realized it, the differences you and I have in dealing with family situations.. I'm too involved, you're too aloof.. I think I can safely say that neither is too good for us! ;p

But that doesn't reflect right or wrong.. Just, an effect of circumstance, I guess..

And you're right.. it takes a while to realize, but we're all lucky to have the kind of family that fits us!

I mean, of course there will be times when I feel like I've had enough with the quarrels, leechy siblings and parents who insist on invading my freedom and personal space all the time~!

But on the whole, I think their silence, detachment and neglect would have been a colder and worser thing for me to bear.. :)

kalau dudk untuk one roof, tak kisah rasanya nak berkongsi split bills semua.

in a way mak akak nak cakap "sebelum puteri2 ku di sambar jejaka dan ada hidup sendiri, apa salahnya berkoban balik untuk bonda"

mind you, kalau akak dan pura dah kawin nanti...semua under decision suami kan? dengan family dah agak detech

Pojan,

Somehow, I can never see myself detached from my family.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, my future husband is someone who understands things my way where my family is concerned.. :)

And no, apa yang mak akak nak cakap tak la se-'eloquent' yang Pojan gambarkan. She's an economist; she really is just talking finance.. ;p
